I survied the NC Dump Truck Show

So, it's Sunday night and I'm finally home from NC. I have to say, the highlight of the trip was actually the show. There were a lot of mishaps the first day I was in Raleigh. First, UPS didn't deliver our booth items. They "accidentally" sent everything back to Cleveland. The good news is that our internal folks were able to overnight me a box of giveaways, so our booth wasn't completely empty. And the local sales rep was able to bring a bunch of items also. I would like to thank the good folks at Fedex Kinko's who took our logo and made me a sign we could use. So, thank you to the woman there that helped me out. I wish I had gotten her name.

This was a one day show. It was a bit slow in the first couple of hours, but by noon, traffic seemed to pick up. I met some great people at the show, vendors and attendees, and am glad we were able to come this year. I would also like to thank the nice people at the NC Dump Truck Association for offering us a free lunch. I can honestly say in the 2 years I've been doing this, that is a first.

Well, time to get packing and hit the sack as I have an early flight to Milwaukee, WI in the morning.

Happy Travels All!
